A Life in Digital WorldsFor as long as I can remember, I have loved games. Throughout my life I have been an avid fan of video games of all types. From platformers to puzzle games, racing games to first person shooters, RPG's to action adventures, fighting games to hack & slashes, I've played games of all different kinds. Nothing refreshes me quite as much as discovering a new play experience. And now that same fascination and passion has led me into game development.
As a recent graduate of the University of Baltimore, a considerable amount of my studies involved developing games first hand. It didn't take long for me to see that programming skills were in demand and I was determined to make myself useful. Programming is a process that I find continuously challenging and ever rewarding. The gratification that I get from getting code to work just right is similar to the refreshing feeling that I get from a new play experience.
About My EducationI graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore in the Fall of 2016 with a 3.8 GPA, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Simulation and Digital Entertainment with an emphasis on Level Design. During my academic career, I received numerous honors including the John and Ada Thorpe Scholarship, the Camille and Clifford Kendall Scholarship (a full-ride), the Wade H. Pugh Statistics Award, and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.
I am comfortable in and have assumed many roles on various development teams including project lead, concept designer, level designer, head programmer, and more. I spent the majority of my time using the Unity game engine and writing code in C#. I also have experience with Java, C++, and Flash ActionScript.
